Tour de France 2022 -Stage 10 (Morzine – Megève)

Tour de France 2022 Stage 10 12 July 2022 Morzien-Megève 148,1 km BRIEF  SUMMARY OF THE STAGE As it was rather expected, a large bunch of riders formed the breakaway group of the day after a relatively long building-up period. One of the most intriguing elements of the early part of the stage was Tadej Pogacar behaviour towards his UEA Team Emirates teammates, after Georges Bemnett was forced to leave the race due COVID-19. The double winner of the race just tried to kepp distance… Read More »Tour de France 2022 -Stage 10 (Morzine – Megève)

Alpe d'Huez on the 12th stage of Tour de France in 2022

Tour de France 2022 Stage 12 (Briançon -Alpe d’Huez 165,1 km)

There is something odd exitiment by taking a glance at the route, how Col du Télégraphe looks like a little heap, when the race approaches it right after climbing Col du Galibier. Both Galibier and Télégraphe are “old giants” of the Tour de France, frequently included in the program of the race since 1911. Usually they’re going together, and most of the time, Télegraphe comes first, then Galibier. Like on the previous stage.   Neverteless, it’s not the firts time at all. For example, this was the (almost)  same route in 1986, when Bernard Hinault and Greg LeMond arrived on the top of Alpe d’Huez together.    MORE ALPE D’HUEZ [su_posts posts_per_page=”4″ tax_term=”2″ order=”desc” orderby=”rand”]… Read More »Tour de France 2022 Stage 12 (Briançon -Alpe d’Huez 165,1 km)
