Angelino Soler, the youngest Vuelta a Espana winner ever, was born on the 25th November in 1939 in Alcazar, Spain.

He was professional between 1961 and 1968. In his first year as pro, he won the Vuelta a Espana. He was only 21 years and 168 days old, thus makes him the youngest Vuelta a Espana winner ever.

Angelino Soler was successfull also at the two other Grand Tours. He won three stages and the King of the Mountains jersey at the Giro d’Italia in 1962. He finished sixth overall at the Tour de France in 1963.

He retired from the professional cycling at the age of 28.
