Meanwhile, Mathieu van der Poel dropped from the breakaway group.

Attack by Jumbo Visma from the peloton.
UAE Team Emirates was able to respond the action, but the group of favourites clearly reduced.
However, Tiesj Benoot is setting the pace currently at the front of the peloton, making the day for Pogacar and co a bit harder.

It looks like for Jumbo-Visma Galibier is the “now or never” place of this Tour de France. Well, they managed to isolate Pogacar from his teammates on the short decent from Télégraphe before the start of the ascent of Galibier

Four riders in the yellow jersey group. Vingegaard and Roglic are just forcing Pogacar to respond again and again. While my “black horse” of the race, Geraint Thomas is sitting in the back of this group and waiting.

Pogacar and Vingenaard are riding together, some other favourites are chasing them, but Roglic is dropped.
Pogacar and Vingegaard have 3 km untill the top of Galibier.

Bardet-Kruijswijk-Thomas trio will arrive to the Pogacar-Vingegaard duo While Barguil is still at the front of the race.

TODAY’S TOUR DE FRANCE FUN FACT
Col du Granon was included the program of Tour de France in 1986. First man on the top was Eduardo Chozas.
But more importantly, this was the stage, when Bernard Hinault dropped and lost the yellow jersey, meanwhile, his teammate, Greg LeMond took the lead in the general classification.
LeMond was the first American cyclists to wear the yellow jersey.
The next stage was the famous Alpe d’Huez stage, when Hinault and LeMond crossed the finish line together.
