Tour de France 2022
Stage 17
20 July 2022
Saint-Gaudens – Peyragudes
129,7 km
This is a terribly short stage. I mean, it’s short (“only” 129, 7 km) and terrible, considering that three 1st and a 2nd category climbs are included into the program.
This year, Tour de France doesn’t visits the mighty Tourmalet, but there are still some other legendary climbs in the program, like today’s first one, Col d’Aspin, which was introduced to the race together with Tourmalet (and Col d ‘Aubisque and Peyresourdes) in 1910.
