Peloton&Tales Frequently Asked Questions, a.k.a. what to know about the Peloton&Tales blog.
What is Peloton&Tales about?
Peloton&Tales is a blog about the great(est) stories of professional road cycling races.
The human kind is a storylover species, We are not only reading or watching stories, but thinking in stories even in our everyday life. So, basically, every small event can be a source material for a great story from a certain point of view. And cycling races provide plenty of them.
Just think about what extraordinary stories have emerged from the dusty, untarmaced roads in the early 20th century. Or just revoke your favourite race from the last season! Wasn’t it a great story? Surely, it was.
So, it is something fictional?
No. Not at all.
Talking about real sport events like a special kind of stories is just a method, a writing technique to describe events from a certain point of view. But everything is real, of course.
But… why?
Because on the market of hundreds or thousands of road cycling blogs you have to offer something unique to be listened. All in my life I was working with stories (reading, watching, reviewing, analysing, criticising or sometimes writing stories), therefore it seems to be a simple idea, that this is what I should do on this blog too.
Who are you? Who is the author of Peloton&Tales?
Hello, I’m Anita Pethő, university graduated literary historian and critic, independent researcher of historical fictions and certificated journalist. My native tounge is Hungarian. Although I can speak English since at least two decades, I started publishing articles (which kind of activity, of course, requires another level of knowledge) in this language only a few years ago.
